Oh, the Indian restaurant nearby was a total gem! We had a delicious meal that really hit the spot. Plus, the cozy bar area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the New Forest. The staff were top-notch, making our stay feel special even with a tired experience.
But I can't ignore that the room was a tad shabby and needed sprucing up, especially the bathroom. Still, overall, everything shined through and we had a decent stay.

We had a lovely experience with a warm welcome and a room upgrade to a comfy four-poster bed that made our stay feel special. The indoor pool and garden area were perfect for some relaxation after a busy day. Just a little fresh paint in some spots would make it look even better, but overall, it was a great place to unwind. 🌟

missingWrote a review on Jun 15beautiful propertyfriendly staffoverwhelmed restaurant servicefrustrating lack of communicationdisrupted stay
The property boasts a beautiful setting with exceptionally friendly staff. A standout feature was the lovely room that accommodated our dog comfortably, along with a generous welcome gift for him. the restaurant service during breakfast felt overwhelmed and disorganized, with several guests expressing frustration. while the atmosphere was generally welcoming, it was disappointing to experience a lack of communication about an event that affected the weekend stay. The tranquility we hoped for was disrupted, making for a less than ideal stay.

It was just a decent option for a brief retreat in Lyndhurst with definitely value for money. The comfortable lounge with a fire made a cozy place to relax after a long day. Consider asking for a room away from the bar area for more peace.
